MANEJO DA DOR ONCOLÓGICA: CUIDADOS DE ENFERMAGEM

Resumo

Objetivo: Identificar os cuidados de enfermagem no manejo da dor em pacientes oncológicos. Metodologia: Revisão narrativa na biblioteca SciELo, no mês de maio de 2024.Foram selecionados estudos publicados entre 2014 e 2023, nos idiomas português, inglês e espanhol, disponíveis na íntegra. Resultados: Foram incluídos nove artigos; cinco (55,6%) publicados em inglês; três (33,3%) publicações em 2018; seis (66,7%) estudos abordaram cuidados de enfermagem em oncologia pediátrica. Musicoterapia e brinquedoterapia são estratégias lúdicas que favorecem a emoção, a afetividade e a interação no cuidado à criança com dor oncológica crônica. Existem algumas limitações para o gerenciamento do cuidado à criança com dor oncológica: sobrecarga de trabalho, desmotivação profissional e fragilidade das relações interprofissionais. Considerações Finais: O estudo permitiu ampliar o conhecimento dos profissionais que atuam nesta área, a fim de promover maior entendimento e compreensão acerca da temática, com vistas a melhoria na qualidade dos atendimentos.

Abstract

Objective: To identify nursing care in pain management in cancer patients. Methodology: Narrative literature review of libery SciELo, in May 2024, has select materials published between 2014 and 2023, in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, available in full. Results: Nine articles were included; five (55.6%) published in English; three (33.3%) publications in 2018; six (66.7%) studies dealt with nursing care in pediatric oncology. Music therapyand and toy therapy are playful strategies favor the use of emotion, affection, and interaction in the care of children with chronic cancer pain. There are some limitations to managing the care of children with cancer pain: work overload, professional demotivation, and fragility of interprofessional relationships. Final Considerations: The study allowed expanding the knowledge of professionals who work in this area, to promote greater understanding of the topic, and to improve the quality of care.
