As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

The Caderno da Escola de Saúde welcomes for publication original articles, reviews, experience or case reports, updates, reviews, interviews, essays, dissertation or thesis abstracts and annals of scientific events in the area.

1. Original Article: original and unpublished research report/research and/or Course Conclusion Papers (TCC). Maximum limit of 20 pages.

2. Review: The following review formats will be accepted: systematic, integrative or meta-analysis. Maximum limit of 20 pages.

3. Case Reports: reports of evaluative and original studies, containing relevant data in the professional, academic, extension areas, among others. The presentation must follow the rules for original articles. Maximum limit of 15 pages.

4. Updates: descriptive and interpretive works, based on the global situation in which a certain investigative or potentially investigative subject is found. Maximum limit of 10 pages.

5. Review: analysis of recently published work and/or theoretical consideration on professional practice in the area. Maximum limit of 05 pages.

6. Interview: space for the presentation of interviews with authorities and/or experts in an area of ​​knowledge among the areas of interest of the magazine. Maximum limit of 05 pages.

7. Essays or Class Notes: original interpretation of a topic that critically contributes to the deepening of knowledge and/or notes/reviews of classroom content by the Institution's professors. Maximum limit of 10 pages.

8. Dissertation/Thesis Summary: dissertation or thesis abstract. Limit 2 pages.

9. Annals of Scientific Events in the Area: collection of abstracts of scientific works in congresses, symposia, conferences, etc..
